Politics, Love, and Religion

This humble author who is writing from a desert place offers nothing to those who dissent from the Catholic Faith.

It is presumed that readers accept all those things that the Catholic Faith believes and teaches because God has revealed them, Who can neither deceive nor be deceived.

That being the case, this author is not interested in wasting time convincing dissidents and Catholics-In-Name-Only of the wrongheadedness of their positions. The Catholic faith requires assent of the intellect and consent of the will to Her teachings; thus, a docility of the spirit is necessary to progress in holiness. This is not about fire prevention – staying out of Hell, it is about journeying towards God, mountaineering on Sion.

This will be conversation only with those who have conformed to the minimum expectations of the Church and profess fidelity to Her Holy Magisterium. Those who do not do so are welcome to read but may write elsewhere.

Therefore all who read and choose to respond must accept that there are certain non-negotiables and these include the Magisterial positions on Abortion, Euthanasia, Birth Control and all forms of legally disguised murder; homosexual unions, gay priests, divorce and remarriage, civil unions, extramarital sex, pornography and all forms of politically disguised adultery; the rights of parents over the education and instruction of their children, their welfare and religious training and the defense of the family against all laws and customs against the Fourth Commandment; the Priesthood and its properly ordained and paternal ministry among men (read: males), proper Liturgy and rightly ordered administration of the Sacraments,  and the exclusiveness of Jesus Christ as the Son of God as Savior, distinct from socially advocated inclusiveness and popular assaults against the First, Second and Third Commandments.

These are the foundations of a Just Society without which no possible Republic or Democracy, let alone Monarchy or Military State can flourish. In the end, justice begins with a mother and a father and their relationship to God and their children which is mediated through the priest and the Bishops of the Church. In this way Life proceeds and heaven is populated with saints.
